Erasmus+
Erasmus+ is the European Union program in the fields of education, training, youth and sport for the period 2021-2027.
Erasmus+ offers opportunities for millions of Europeans to study, train, volunteer or gain work experience abroad.
Building on the success it has enjoyed in its 35 years of operation, Erasmus+ is strengthening its efforts to multiply the opportunities it offers to more participants and a wider variety of organizations, focusing on its qualitative impact and contributing to more inclusive and cohesive, greener and digitally ready societies.
Titu Maiorescu University (UTM) has a long experience in the implementation of Erasmus+ program, obtaining the first Erasmus Charter in 2004 and organizing mobilities since 2005. Thanks to the internationalization activity, the number of international students has doubled and Erasmus+ mobilities have increased annually by 10%.
Throughout its history, Titu Maiorescu University has developed as a comprehensive university, being the only private university in Romania to offer an integrated medical education within the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy. Through its English-taught programs, UTM has become an attractive university for international students, as well as for foreign teaching staff, who can conduct research, teaching or training in an international language.
Titu Maiorescu University operates within Key Action 1– study and traineeship mobility abroad for students, as well as teaching or training mobility for teaching and administrative staff.
