Residency stages
INFORMATION – RESIDENCY EXTENSION
After taking sick leave, maternity leave, child-rearing and care leave, unpaid leave, or in other situations where the employment relationship is suspended, as provided for in the current normative acts, the resident submits a request to the residency training department for the extension of residency training by the interrupted period.
Required documents for resuming residency
- Request approved by the specialist coordinator
- Certificate from the employer mentioning the period of interruption and the date of return to work
- Identity card copy / first page of residence permit
The application, along with the necessary documents, should be submitted to the Residents' Office secretariat for approval by the Department Director and then forwarded to the Ministry of Health for approval.,
Required documents for residency extension:
– Ceres
– Certificate issued by the employer (original) showing the specialty, year of residency, and period(s) of interruption of activity, the reasons for it.
– Documents attesting to the reason for the extension of the residency
– Copy of identity document
Copy of child's birth certificate (if applicable)
– Copy of name change document (if applicable)
– Full copy of resident's booklet
