POSTGRADUATE COURSE OPENING
FACULTY OF COMMUNICATION SCIENCES ORGANIZATION
AND INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS
On November 23, starting at 10:00 AM, the GRAND OPENING CEREMONY of the POSTGRADUATE COURSES took place in the Aula Magna of Titu Maiorescu University in Bucharest: Integration and Inclusion in the Education System for Children with Special Needs and CHILDCARE - A DIMENSION OF PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION. Both courses are organized by Faculty of Communication Sciences and International Relations (Department of Specialization in Psychopedagogy) at Titu Maiorescu University. The event, which began to the strains of the academic anthem Let us rejoice, therefore, it enjoyed wide participation, consisting of pre-university teaching staff enrolled in new courses and faculty professors.
During the opening session, the Dean of the Faculty of Communication Sciences and International Relations, Professor Sorin Ivan, PhD, outlined for the audience an essential portrait of Titu Maiorescu University, based on its defining data, and extensively presented the two postgraduate programs, highlighting the general framework for their initiation, objectives, structure, scientific content, delivery and evaluation methods, and other administrative elements.
By organizing the postgraduate courses "INTEGRATION AND INCLUSION IN THE EDUCATION SYSTEM OF CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS" and "CHILDCARE – A DIMENSION OF PRESCHOOL EDUCATION," Titu Maiorescu University institutionally and academically responds to the objective of professionalizing pre-university education, as stipulated by education legislation, a need keenly felt at the system level in some of its segments.
