International Lectures – Constitutional Law Seminar – Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro
The Faculty of Law of Titu Maiorescu University in Bucharest organized the Constitutional Law Circle alongside international speakers from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro), who visited the University within the framework of the Erasmus+ project 2023-1-RO01-KA171-HED-000142355.
We had the distinct honor of having His Excellency, Ricardo Guerra de Araújo, the Ambassador of Brazil, and Minister Counselor Alexandre da Silva Barbedo with us.
At this event, Dean Edna Raquel Hogemann, Doctor of Legal Sciences, with a postdoctoral degree in Human Rights, gave the lecture “Democracy under Discussion: Electoral Processes in Brazil and Romania – Comparing practices, Challenges and Public Policies”, and Associate Professor Dr. Oswaldo Lima JR., Doctor of Legal Sciences from Estácio de Sá University, discussed the topic: “Ensuring Participation: exploring public policies and citizen rights in the electoral context of Brazil”.
