Congress
“INTERDISCIPLINARY VISION IN DENTAL MEDICINE”
will take place from May 21st to 23rd, 2013, at Calea Văcărești no. 189 – Building M, sector 4, Bucharest, and will bring together representatives from the national and international academic and scientific research community to present new materials, techniques, and technologies, and to conduct interdisciplinary exchanges of experience with implications in oral rehabilitation.
The convention is credited with hours EMC by the College of Dental Practitioners of Romania.
Participation certificates will be issued based on attendance at the Congress proceedings.

The congress is organized into two sections, which include lectures, scientific communications, posters, and an exhibition of dental equipment, instruments, and materials.

Authors are requested to submit the abstract of their scientific work by April 30, 2013, for analysis and selection by the scientific committee.

- Rezumat în limba română (cu diacritice), care va conține între 200-250 cuvinte, precum și scopul lucrării, material, metodă, rezultate, concluzii Această lucrare se concentrează pe analiza factorilor care influențează performanța energetică a sistemelor de ventilație utilizate în clădirile rezidențiale moderne. Scopul principal al studiului este de a identifica soluțiile optime pentru reducerea consumului de energie, menținând în același timp o calitate adecvată a aerului interior. Au fost luate în considerare diverse tipuri de sisteme de ventilație, inclusiv cele cu recuperare de căldură, cele cu flux simplu controlat și sistemele de ventilație naturală sau hibride. Metodologia de cercetare a implicat o combinație de simulări numerice și analize de date colectate de la instalații existente. Simulările au utilizat software specializat pentru a modela fluxul de aer, transferul de căldură și impactul diverșilor parametri operaționali, cum ar fi debitele de ventilație, temperaturile exterioare și interioare, precum și eficiența componentelor. Analiza datelor reale a permis validarea modelelor și evaluarea performanței sistemelor în condiții de operare variate. Rezultatele obținute demonstrează că sistemele de ventilație cu recuperare de căldură oferă cea mai mare eficiență energetică, cu reduceri semnificative ale pierderilor de energie termică. S-a constatat, de asemenea, că o dimensionare corectă și o programare inteligentă a sistemelor de ventilație, adaptate la necesitățile reale de aerisire, pot contribui la economii substanțiale. Totuși, costurile inițiale mai ridicate ale acestor sisteme pot reprezenta o barieră. În concluzie, implementarea sistemelor de ventilație cu recuperare de căldură, combinată cu strategii de control optimizate, reprezintă cea mai eficientă abordare pentru îmbunătățirea performanței energetice a clădirilor rezidențiale. Sunt necesare investiții suplimentare și politici de sprijin pentru a încuraja adoptarea pe scară largă a acestor tehnologii, contribuind astfel la reducerea amprentei globale de carbon și la creșterea confortului locatarilor.

We kindly request that submitted works have not been presented at other scientific events.
The duration of a lecture will be between 30-120 minutes, and that of a scientific communication will be 8 minutes.
Authors will receive the acceptance notification by May 12, 2013.
If the author(s) of the lecture / scientific papers / posters wish to obtain a Certificate of Attendance for the Congress, they will have to pay the participation fee.
Authors of accepted and unsupported papers will not receive the corresponding EMC/EPC points.

Registration Fee
The participation rate is:
– for doctors: 200 lei until 30.04.2013 and 220 lei after this date
– for doctoral students: 170 lei until April 30, 2013, and 190 lei after this date
– No fee is charged for students and retired doctors.
The participation fee includes access to all scientific events of the Congress, the congress bag, the abstracts of lectures/papers submitted to the congress, coffee breaks, and the accredited CMDR diploma with EMC hours.
