International Students' Day
Today, November 17, Titu Maiorescu University celebrates International Students' Day.
Dear students, today we celebrate your desire to learn, your perseverance, and your dedication to your educational journey. Every page read, every exam passed, and every lesson learned brings you closer to your dreams.
Student life is a journey full of challenges and discoveries, but also of unforgettable opportunities and friendships.
May International Students' Day bring you inspiration and joy to achieve your goals and continue your path as esteemed students toward a successful career!
We wish students from all over the world: academic satisfaction and a student experience sprinkled with unforgettable memories!
International Students' Day was first marked in 1941 in London by the International Students' Council (which included many refugees) in full agreement with the wartime Allies, and the tradition was maintained by the International Union of Students.
International Students' Day is a celebration of multiculturalism, diversity, and collaboration among students across the globe. While it initially emerged as a day to commemorate the over 1,200 students from Prague University who sacrificed themselves during World War II, International Students' Day has become a reason for universities worldwide to celebrate their international students.
