Faculty of Psychology at Titu Maiorescu University in collaboration with Romanian Association of Cognitive Behavioral and Interpersonal Psychotherapy organize the workshop on the topic: „Development of Modern Psychodynamic Psychotherapies and Results of Comparative Psychotherapy Research”supported by Prof. Wietersheim (Germany).
The workshop It will take place on March 3, 2023, between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM at Titu Maiorescu University, at the address: Calea Văcărești number 187, room 305, 3rd floor.
The workshop addresses the topic of the study: the development of modern, psychodynamic psychotherapies and the results of comparative psychotherapy study.
With roots in classical psychoanalysis, psychodynamic therapies have developed significantly in recent decades. They are more symptom-oriented and are short-term therapies. Nevertheless, they have contributed to the formation of psychotherapy manuals and represent the basis for empirical studies in comparative psychotherapy.
In this presentation, some of these short-term psychodynamic therapies will be introduced. Additionally, the results of comparative therapy will be presented.
