International Conference: Education and Creativity
For a Knowledge-Based Society
Today, November 23rd, the 17th edition of the International Conference: Education and Creativity for a Knowledge-Based Society took place at Titu Maiorescu University. The conference was opened by the rector of Titu Maiorescu University, Prof.univ.dr. Daniel Cochior.
The Aula Magna hosted distinguished guests such as Academician Prof. Leon Dănăilă, who delivered a speech on „Psychological Therapy for Neurosurgical Patients.”.
The event was held in a hybrid format, and through his online intervention, Professor Martin Rozanek - from the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at the Czech Technical University presented the topic: „Education of Biomedical Engineers in the Czech Republic”.
Prorector for Scientific Research at Titu Maiorescu University, Professor Titi Paraschiv, Ph.D., moderated the conference and addressed the topic „Data science and Society.”.
Among other distinguished guests were: Engineer Dr. Gabriel Epure from the Research Center for CBRN Defense and Ecology with the topic: „National Capabilities of Chemical Warfare Agents Identification From Environmental and Biomedical Sampled.”.
Engineer Dr. Mihail-Liviu Coșereanu from the “Elie Carafoli” National Institute for Aerospace Research, who gave a speech on “Technological and Informational Education, Vector of Society's Evolution and Development.”.
Camelia Miron, Associate Professor at the Center for Low-Temperature Plasma Sciences, Nagoya University in Japan, presented online the paper with the theme: “Low-temperature Plasma Processing of Materials for Cancer Treatment.”.
After the conference opening and the plenary sessions, the scientific sessions continued with the presentation of papers by section.
