„Education and Creativity for a Knowledge-Based Society”

Today, in the Aula Magna of Titu Maiorescu University, the opening of the 19th International Conference “Education and Creativity for a Knowledge-Based Society” took place.

The conference is a multidisciplinary scientific event whose general objective is to promote scientific excellence among the academic community, researchers, specialists, doctoral students, master's students, and students.

    The presidium included university management faculty as well as guests from outside the institution: Univ. Prof. Dr. Iosif R. Urs (President of the University), Univ. Prof. Dr. Daniel Cochior (Rector of the University), Univ. Prof. Dr. Valentin Pau (Vice-President of the Administrative Council), Univ. Prof. Dr. Smaranda Angheni (Vice-President of the Administrative Council), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Iustin Priescu (President of the University Senate), Univ. Prof. Dr. Titi Paraschiv (Vice-Rector for Scientific Research), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elena Rusu (Vice-Rector for Education), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Geanina Banu (Vice-Rector for International Relations), Univ. Prof. Dr. Alexandru Vlad Ciurea (Honorary Member of the Romanian Academy, Scientific Director of Sanador Clinical Hospital), who presented the paper titled „Per Aspera ad Astra”.

The event took place in a hybrid format, and through his online intervention, Mr. Prof. univ. dr. ing. Eusebiu Catană (Free University of Brussels, Doctor Honoris Causa of Titu Maiorescu University) presented the paper titled „The 2025 Frontiers of Generative AI: Smart Modeling of the Future”.

Next, Mr. CS II Dr. Andrei Alexandru (President of the National Authority for Research within the Ministry of Education and Research), Dragoș-Cristian VLAD (President of the Romanian Digitalization Authority), and Corneliu MĂNESCU (Director General, Ministry of Communications and Information Society) had online presentations.

The prorector for scientific research of Titu Maiorescu University, Prof. univ. dr. Titi Paraschiv, moderated the conference proceedings and presented a paper on „The Crisis of Meaning in the Digital Age. From Data to Wisdom.”.

After the opening of the conference, the presentations were given in sections.
