Short presentation:

I am a graduate of the Faculty of Dentistry „Carol Davila” Bucharest. I started my professional career as a general dentist, during which period I carried out dental consultation and treatment on request, dental prevention, monitoring groups of patients at high risk, etc.

In 1992, I started my teaching career by passing the competition for the post of assistant professor and then head of works at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Craiova, Faculty of Dentistry, in the discipline of Dentistry. I was part of the teaching staff of the first graduating class of students of the Faculty of Dentistry in Craiova, which is why I received the Diploma of Excellence for my contribution to the development of dental education in Craiova, awarded by UMF Craiova, on the 20th anniversary of its operation.

From 2004 to the present, I have been working at the Faculty of Dentistry, Titu Maiorescu University of Bucharest. I started as a university lecturer and since

2009 I was promoted by competition to full professor. I have contributed to the development and updating of the discipline of Dentistry but also other disciplines such as oral prevention or oral pathology. In the same year I also obtained the accreditation from the Ministry of Education for doctoral supervision of General Dentistry at the Doctoral School of Dental Medicine UTM, established in the same year, to whose formation and development I also contributed as director.

The scientific activity focused on increasing the initiative to develop new projects, to support modern areas of super-specialization as well as to support research excellence through its internationalization. I have participated as a member or manager in 10 research projects in collaboration with institutions from home and abroad (FP6 Program, CALL 6, Contract no. 045069, Nov. 2006, concluded with the European Commission, project coordinated by „Q-Plan NG” (Greece); Academia Romana and INCE ”Costin C. Kirițescu” - POSDRU/CPP107/DMI 1.5/S/77082; Operational Sector Program Human Resources Development 2007 - 2013, Priority Axis AP2 Contract no. In 2008, the Senate of Titu Maiorescu University, on the 15th anniversary of its foundation, awarded me the Honorary Diploma for exceptional merits in the building and development of Titu Maiorescu University, for the continuity and modern affirmation of the traditions of Romanian university culture, and then in 2015 - the Diploma of Excellence on the 25th anniversary of UTM.

As management activities I mention the position of scientific secretary at the Faculty of Dentistry since the year I joined the faculty, then vice-dean in 2008-2009 and interim dean in 2009-2010. I was a member of the Faculty Council, UTM Senate,

ARACIS evaluator (in which capacity I participated in the Commission for the periodic accreditation of the Faculty of Dentistry - UMF Constanța, for the provisional authorization of the College of Dental Dentistry (Dental) and accreditation of the College of Dental Technician, UMF Constanța, 14-16 Oct. 2007), member of the Commission of the National Center for Scholarships for Studies Abroad of the Ministry of Education and Research (CNBSS), member of the internal audit committee of UTM, member of the committee for institutional strategy and study programs of the senate of UTM,

member of the committee for the evaluation, promotion and quality assurance of the teaching process and scientific research, member of the Scientific Research Council of UTM.

I also participated as a member of the SRS-GAO, 2009-2013, Bucharest, Romania, review committee in The 22th INTERNATIONAL DAAAM SYMPOSIUM. I should also mention my presence as deputy editor-in-chief of the Romanian Journal of Dentistry (B+) since 2010 and as a participant as reviewer committee of this journal as well as the Open Science Journal of Clinical Medicine (2016, 2017).

Recently I received the title and diploma of Emeritus Professor of UTM during an academic event, under the aegis of the celebration of the 33 years of existence of the institution, which took place on the occasion of the awarding by the Director of ARACIS of the certificate with the rating „High degree of confidence” following the institutional evaluation.

I am honored and grateful for the distinctions I have received and I believe that I can still support the development of the scientific activity within the Faculty of Dentistry of Titu Maiorescu University and use my teaching experience, which started 30 years ago, to increase the quality of teaching in the Faculty.

Prof.emerit.Dr.Habil. Florin Dan Ungureanu, graduate with a Diploma of Merit from the Faculty of General Medicine, IMF Cluj, class of 1977, I started my professional career by succeeding in the Internship competition in 1976, and I did my internships for the first two years in Cluj, later being seconded to Bucharest, at the Fundeni Cardio-Vascular Surgery Clinic. I entered the teaching profession in February 1980, being declared successful in the competition for the post of university assistant at the Department of Surgery, UMF Carol Davila Bucharest, at the Colțea Clinical Hospital and then at the Caritas Clinical Hospital, where I progressed to the rank of head of works. In the professional hierarchy, I became a specialist physician and then a primary general surgery physician, and scientifically, Doctor of Medicine in 1996 and Attestation of Qualification for the conduct of PhD in 2015. On April 1, 2000, I was transferred to Titu Maiorescu University in Bucharest in the interest of service and appointed head of clinic by competition at the General Surgery Clinic of C.F. Witting University Hospital, Ministry of Transport.

In 2004, at the same time, I held the position of Director General of the C.F. Witting University Hospital and, by unanimous vote of the teaching staff, I became Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Titu Maiorescu University, which allowed me to set up 11 UTM university clinics in the hospitals of the Ministry of Transport, with the support of the Ministry of Health.

Further on, I have gone on to the university degrees of Lecturer and then University Professor, performing to date a number of approximately 7000 surgeries by classical and laparoscopic route. I remained head of the clinic for 20 years until my retirement in 2020.

I have competence in laparoscopic surgery and oxygen monotherapy, as well as the second specialty in Management and Public Health. I have five innovations and inventions, of which I have obtained three patents from OSIM and the next two are in the research period.

I served as the General Director of the C.F.Witting Clinical Hospital for a period of three years between 2004 and 2006, I served as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for two terms between 2004 and 2008, and then between 2008 and 2012, of which between 2008 and 2009, Dean of both the Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry, the last important position being that of President of the Senate UTM, for two terms, between 2012 and 2016 and between 2016 and 2022.

I currently hold the position of Deputy President of the Senate and Director of the Doctoral School, Medicine, IOSUD, UTM. One of the main duties during this period, in which I have participated substantially, has been the establishment of degree programs, absolutely necessary for an elite university in full development, though essentially particular, as follows: the authorization of the undergraduate program of General Medical Assistance in 2005 by the CNEEA, the establishment in 2011 of an external branch in Athens of this program, which, although launched, did not function due to lack of students, the authorization by the ARACIS commissions of the Faculty of Pharmacy in 2015, and also in 2015, the establishment of the Doctoral School in MEDICINE, in addition to the doctoral schools in Dentistry and Law, finally the authorization of the undergraduate program of the Faculty of Medicine in English in 2017.

I coordinated for 12 years the postgraduate course in oxygen monotherapy, under the guidance of the Ministry of Education, between 2005 and 2017.

I was awarded the title of Professor Emeritus by the Rector's decision in 2023.

In total, I have participated in 17 ARACIS visits to the Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy and Doctoral School of Medicine, plus two institutional visits, all successfully concluded, each time being awarded the high degree of confidence. Internationalization was another important objective, which was developed within the ERASMUS programmes, and I personally participated in the conclusion of university study contracts with Claude Bernard University in Lyon, Insbruck University of Medicine, Otto von Gericke Medical School in Magdeburg, Medical School in Ramallah, Palestine, SAPIENZA University in Rome and Medical University of Vienna.

I have been a member of the Romanian Society of Surgery since 1980, which I have permanently supported with presentations and articles published in the Journal CHIRURGIA, mainly as secretary, but also as vice-president on several occasions. As a result of this sustained and substantial activity, I was decorated with the Diploma of Excellence, for outstanding merits in the development and progress of Romanian surgery. Other distinctions and honors: Order of Merit for Teaching in the rank of Knight, by Decree 1097 of December 10, 2004, on the conferral of the Order and Medal of Merit for Teaching, Medal Prof. Dan Setlacec, Diploma of Excellence of the Union of Journalists, etc... Publicistica, meaning books, treatises or chapters thereof, monographs, articles or participation in scientific sessions, domestic and international, includes the following data: a total of 17 specialized books, 61 specialized articles, 22 articles in the Thomson Philadelphia database and over 100 participations in congresses and conferences, domestic and international.

Among the most outstanding distinctions I have been offered, the diploma offered by a group of physicians enthusiastic in the practice of integrated medicine, thus illustrated, is an exception:

Teaching Career and Professional Activity

Since 2007 and until now he is University Professor, PhD in Medical Sciences at Titu Maiorescu University of Bucharest, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. Subjects taught include Morphology and semiology of the stomatognathic system, Fixed Prosthodontics and Occlusology.

From 2002 to 2007 he held the position of University Lecturer, Doctor of Medical Sciences, General Dentistry at Ovidius University Constanta, Faculty of Dentistry. Discipline taught was Oral Rehabilitation.

In 1977 she became a dentist as a graduate of the Institute of Medicine and Pharmacy (I.M.F.) Carol Davila Bucharest, Faculty of Dentistry.

In 1992, he acquired the title of Specialist Dentist, becoming in 1997 Primary Dentist.

In 2001, he obtained the Diploma of Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Tg-Mures, Faculty of Dental Medicine.

In 2009 he became PhD supervisor at the Titu Maiorescu University of Bucharest, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.

Scientific research

Prof.Dr. Dumitru Cristea

Teaching career.

He graduated in Philosophy-Psychology at the University of Bucharest in 1972.

As „head of class”, he was retained as a teaching assistant in this institution

He obtained his PhD in 1976 with a thesis in the field of „social psychology”.

He taught at the following higher education institutions:University of Bucharest (1972-1977); Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest (1977-1994); Higher Institute of Intelligence (1991-1995); „Titu Maiorescu” University of Bucharest (1995-present), where he gave courses in philosophy, social psychology, group psychosociology, psychology of interpersonal relations, communication techniques, etc.

As Deputy Director of the Romanian Intelligence Service, with the rank of General, he set up and coordinated the activity of the „Higher Institute of Intelligence”, being also the first rector of this institution, the first of its kind in Romania, with a psychosociological and intelligence profile.

Within the Faculty of Psychology at the „Titu Maiorescu„ University, he founded and coordinated the Master's program ”Communication Techniques and Social Influence", where he also taught the main course on communication and influence techniques.

Scientific activity.

During the above-mentioned period, he published 67 studies and research papers in specialized publications.

He presented approx. 70 scientific communications in various scientific and popularization symposia and conferences.

He has published six volumes by himself and two in collaboration.

He has published in three successive editions „Treatise on Social Psychology”, a work awarded by the Romanian Academy with the „Vasile Conta„ prize (in 2017). It is the first treatise of its kind published in Romania (1000 pages), published by ”Editura Trei„ and ”Editura Didactică și Pedagogică").

She is currently working on a book on „The psychosociology of the person - Person and social destiny”.

I am Acad. Prof. Emeritus Prof. Dr. Marian Gabriela, Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine - „Titu Maiorescu” University of Bucharest, PhD in Medicine, with expertise in health services management.

Since the beginning of my academic career, I have participated in numerous congresses, conferences and symposia both at home and abroad to contribute to the field of psychiatry. In addition, I have enrolled in advanced courses in areas such as forensic science, psychopharmacology and psychotherapy, addiction and other important issues related to psychiatry.

Over one hundred scientific articles attest to my professional skills and reputation and I feel honored to have been selected for the organizing and scientific committees of important national and world scientific conferences. I have conducted more than 40 clinical trials in the psychiatric field as PI and I am also an international and national grant-awarded researcher. I have also been selected as research team member in numerous national and international committees in the field of psychiatry.

The many courses and lectures I have attended almost all over the country as a lecturer on psychiatry and psychopharmacology have taken the lead in developing a new attitude towards psychiatric disorders.

In recognition of the European and international prestige, I was elected member of the following professional associations: AOSR (Academy of Romanian Scientists), European Psychiatric Association, Romanian Psychiatric Association, Romanian Balint Association, Romanian Society of Biological Psychiatry and Psychopharmacology.

Short presentation:

Prof. Nicolae Voiculescu has been a professor at Titu Maiorescu University since 2007. He has worked in the Faculty of Law, also holding the position of its Vice-Dean. The subjects covered in the curriculum were International Protection of Human Rights, Labor Law and Academic Writing.

Since 2011 he is a PhD supervisor in the field of Law, specializing in Human Rights and European Union Law, as well as Director of the Council for Doctoral Studies (CSUD) of the Titu Maiorescu University of Bucharest. He graduated from the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Philosophy-History of the University of Bucharest. She has also benefited from a scholarship on human rights awarded by the UN Center for Human Rights in Geneva and Strasbourg, as well as a course in International Relations and Diplomacy at the University of Leeds. He has significant experience as a diplomat in the Human Rights Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Representative in Romania of the International Labor Organization and Parliamentary Counselor at the Legal Committee on Discipline and Immunities of the Chamber of Deputies. He is also Editor-in-Chief of the Romanian Journal of Labor Law and of the Law Annals of Titu Maiorescu University. Since 2021 he is an alternate member of the Management Board of the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA).

He is the author of 24 papers and over 80 articles on human rights and labor law. Among them, the Treatise on Human Rights, elaborated together with Dr. Maria-Beatrice Berna, a fundamental reference work, unique in Romanian specialized literature.

Professional activity:

Period 1972 - 1996 - main inspector, general inspector, head of service, director in the Ministry of Education - General Directorate of Higher Education, with the following responsibilities: coordination of the mechanical profile of higher education and scientific research, awarding of teaching and scientific titles, equipping of specialized cabinets and laboratories. In this capacity, I also promoted the introduction of the specialization MECHATRONICS in the Nomenclature of specializations in Romania.

Period 1990 - 2002 - scientific secretary of the Senate, pro-rector, full professor by competition at the Titu Maiorescu University of Bucharest.

Period 2002 - 2023 - Vice President of the Board of Directors, Vice President of the Association of founding members of UTM, in this capacity contributing to the institutional accreditation of the 10 faculties, 25 specializations, 26 master's degrees.

Scientific activity/publications:

I have contributed, as author or co-author, to the realization of 34 books, treatises, lecture notes and textbooks, of which 25 are published in established, recognized publishing houses; over 120 scientific papers published in journals or volumes of specialized Romanian and foreign scientific events, including 15 articles with ISI recognition and impact factor, as well as over 100 scientific papers at conferences, symposia, round tables, etc. We also contributed to the design of 115 devices, kits, stands and software developed for teaching and research laboratories, as well as 35 titles of audiovisual media (educational films, slide sets, overhead projector film sets, software, etc.) developed for teaching and scientific research.

Author of 2 patents (OSIM certified) and 4 innovations applied in industry.

Project director or member of research teams in over 30 national and international research projects and grants funded by ANCS/CNCSIS or European funds (COPERNICUS, TEMPUS).

Technical expert, evaluator/monitor of scientific research projects in the research programs PNCD, MANANTECH, CALIST, MENER, INFOSOC, RELANSIN, INVENT, IDEI, CAPACITIES, HUMAN RESOURCES, PARTNERSHIPS, etc., as well as expert evaluator in the national structures for the quality evaluation of the study programs CNEEA and ARACIS.

Short presentation:

As a professor at the Faculty of Psychology of the „Titu Maiorescu” University, since 1991, I have been teaching the course „Introduction to Psychoanalysis”, a subject that I have introduced and maintained as a subject of study in Romanian higher education.

In 1994, as a co-founder, I founded the Trei Publishing House, specialized in the publication of books on psychoanalysis and psychology, where I currently coordinate several collections of psychology, including the „Library of Psychoanalysis”, where the complete works of Freud and Jung have appeared.

As a psychoanalyst I am, since 1990, member of the Romanian Society of Psychoanalysis and since 1999, member of the International Psychoanalytic Association, founded by Sigmund Freud. Within SRP I am a psychoanalyst trainer and supervisor, certified by the Romanian College of Psychologists. Since 2017 I am the president of Insight Association, accredited by CPR for training practitioners of psychoanalytic psychotherapy.

I have published 11 books and numerous articles, some of which have received prestigious awards. „In Search of the Self” was awarded the 1994 Bucharest Writers„ Association prize for essay, and ”The Philosophy of the Unconscious„, an interdisciplinary work on the border between philosophy and psychoanalysis, received the Ovidiu Cotruș prize in 1996 and, in its final form, the Romanian Academy's ”Constantin Rădulescu Motru" prize in 2018.
