CALENDAR FOR PLAGIARISM CHECK, ENROLLMENT, AND DEFENSE OF THE BACHELOR'S THESIS/DISSERTATION EXAM

SEPTEMBER 2025 SESSION

STUDY PROGRAMS MEDICINE AND GENERAL MEDICAL CARE

 For support for the bachelor's thesis/dissertation exam in the SEPTEMBER 2025 session, the following steps will be taken:

 

  1. Plagiarism Check

We inform you that to obtain plagiarism report The students will prepare 3 documents: 1. The Bachelor's thesis/dissertation, 2. The personal contribution part, 3. The abstract of the thesis. The documents will be uploaded exclusively through your institutional Microsoft 365 account (@s.utm.ro) via the Microsoft Forms platform.

Verification is mandatory!

Document submission period: 01.08.2025 (08.00) – 20.08.2025 (11.59).

 

Only papers whose similarity percentage does not exceed 50% for Similarity Coefficient 1 (determines what percentage of the document contains phrases of 5 words or longer, found in the databases) and 10 % for Similarity Coefficient 2 (determines what percentage of the document contains phrases of 25 words or longer, found in the databases) will be accepted for registration for the bachelor's exam, according to the Methodology for organizing and conducting bachelor's exams in the 2024-2025 academic year.

 

  1. Enrollment for the Bachelor's/Dissertation Exam

Registrations for the bachelor's thesis/dissertation exam will take place between August 25-27, 2025.

The file for enrollment in the bachelor's exam must include:

  • Birth certificate – legalized copy/copy conforming to the original (in the student's file)
  • Marriage Certificate – Notarized Copy/Certified True Copy (if applicable) (in student's file)
  • Copy of ID / passport (to student file)
  • Original high school diploma and a legalized copy/copy certified as true to the original (in the student's file)
  • Certificate of language proficiency in a widely spoken international language (English or French)
  • 3 photos ¾ adhesive color photo paper
  • Clearance form
  • GDPR Form
  • Application for the bachelor's degree exam
  • Declaration of originality of the undergraduate thesis
  • Report signed by the thesis coordinator
  • Printed diploma thesis + electronic support (memory stick)
  • Receipt confirming payment of the license fee in the amount of 2,500 lei.

Graduation examThe defense of the thesis will take place from September 2 to 5, 2025.

 

 

JULY 2025 SESSION

 

Stage I – Plagiarism check

♦ First check – 21.05.2025 – 25.05.2025 – all graduates I will upload the bachelor's thesis for verification to a platform intended for this purpose.

♦ Second check – 05/31/2025 – 06/02/2025 – only graduates who uploaded their thesis for the first check, but which exceed the allowed similarity percentages. Theses not submitted for the first check are not accepted.

All thesis works must be uploaded to the anti-plagiarism verification program!

Only those who meet the following criteria will be accepted for the bachelor's degree exam, works whose percentage of similarity I do not exceed 50% for Similarity Coefficient 1 (determines what percentage of the document contains phrases of 5 words or longer, found in the databases) and 10 % for Similarity Coefficient 2 (determine what percentage of the document contains phrases of 25 words or longer, found in the databases).

The first check of the thesis is free, with the graduate paying a fee of 100 lei for the next check(s) (if necessary).

 

Stage II – Application for the Bachelor's/Master's Thesis Exam

Registration is carried out in the period 09 - June 20, 2025. Only students who do not exceed the similarity percentages described in Stage I can register for the bachelor's/master's thesis exam.

Registration is done based on the following documents:

  1. Request type of registration (from the secretariat);
  2. High school diploma, in original and copy (front and back)
  3. birth certificate, copy as per original;
  4. marriage certificate (if applicable), true copy;
  5. any other act attesting to the change of name (if applicable), true copy;
  6. copy of ID/passport;
  7. language proficiency certificate for a widely circulated international language (English or French) – issued by Titu Maiorescu University
  8. dissertation, printed and on electronic media (memory stick), accompanied by scientific advisor's report and all of this, and The similarity report generated by the anti-plagiarism software after checking the paper;
  9. Candidate's declaration of originality regarding the master's thesis content (from the secretariat);
  10. three color photos, 3/4;
  11. Clearance form (from the secretariat);
  12. Information notice and consent form for the processing of personal data (GDPR) (from the secretariat)
  13. proof of payment dissertation examination support fee in the amount of 2500 lei;

If the documents mentioned in points 2-6 are already in the graduate's file, they do not need to be submitted with the enrollment file.

 

Stage III - Bachelor's/Thesis Examination Procedures
