The Faculty of Law prepares specialists in law and public administration, who can occupy a wide range of jobs: lawyers, notaries, business counselors, civil servants, teachers, magistrates, scientific researchers. The studies are completed with a bachelor's degree, in our own organization, recognized both by the Ministry of Education and Research and abroad, which allows graduates access to postgraduate courses (master's degree) both at our University and at other universities in the country and abroad.
The Faculty of Law is part of Titu Maiorescu University, founded in 1990 as the first non-profit higher education institution in Romania.
The performance achieved in teaching, scientific research, management and organization of the educational process, were the reasons for Titu Maiorescu University to be included among the first universities accredited by Law no. 239 of 30 April 2002, as part of the national education system. The Faculty of Law was established in 1990, together with the institution of higher education of which it is a part, having a non-profit character, being accredited by the same Law no. 239/2002.
The mission of the Faculty is both the specialized professional training of students and the development of their cultural-scientific level.
The Faculty aims to train lawyers with the following qualities:
Master fundamental knowledge of doctrine, legislation, case law;
The ability to state and express opinions on the various issues raised by the legal institutions and to offer solutions to disputes arising in court cases:
Ability to design legal actions, to pronounce and draft judgments;
Public advocacy;
Specialization in at least one branch of law;
Ability to contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to different legal institutions;
Ability to work in a team;
Awareness of the social responsibility of the legal profession: magistrate, lawyer, notary, legal adviser, etc.
Currently, the Faculty of Law has all the necessary means to organize and carry out teaching activities, scientific and practical-applicative research, as well as specialized teaching staff, meeting the requirements imposed by the regulations in force on quality management in higher education.
Spaces and facilities
The Faculty of Law's activity is carried out in its ultramodern premises in Calea Văcărești 187, sector 4, built to international standards. The building, equipped with ventilation systems and exceptional facilities, provides students with lecture halls, seminar rooms, forensic and computer laboratories, a library and a bookstore. The teaching space provided is in line with the number of students and the activities provided in the curriculum. Teaching activities are carried out according to the timetable in three lecture halls with a capacity of 200 seats each and in 15 halls with a capacity of 30-40 seats. The auditoriums are equipped with audio-video equipment for sound amplification and projection of audiovisual teaching aids (overhead projector films, slides, books). All seminar rooms are equipped with audiovisual technical equipment, cameras and air conditioning.
The acquisition of theoretical knowledge by students is exemplified with case studies in the forensic laboratory, legal informatics, legal clinics, forensic medicine, as well as in the simulated trials laboratory where students are interested in applying the theory learned.
The Faculty provides students with state-of-the-art, competitive and highly reliable equipment: computer network, video and audio technology, televisions, teaching boards, overhead projectors, microscopes, videotapes and CD-ROMs, forensic kits.

- The laboratory of forensic medicine is located in the premises of the Institute of Forensic Medicine “Prof. dr. Mina Minovici”, Sos. Vitan - Barzesti nr. 9, sector 4, the collaboration being stipulated by an agreement signed with this institution.
