The strategic objective of Department of Specialization with Psychopedagogical Profile (D.S.P.P.) within „Titu Maiorescu” University”, it represents the construction of a modern didactic and pedagogical entity, which is to be founded on the new acquisitions of the neuropsycho-logy sciences, the psychosociology of groups, and the development of self-motivation for learning.
Mental adaptation - a „contemporary reflex of urgency” - and the new philosophy of education will facilitate the acceptance and participation in educational reform of a modern, programmatic vision, through didactic and methodical tools focused on innovation, improvement, and generalization of good practices in education. The „3S” cognitive complex (stimulation, solution, setting) will bring a significant change in the approach to the „Culture of Learning.”.
D.S.P.P. is institutionally designed as an autonomous structure within „Titu Maiorescu” University based on Order of the Minister of Education and Research no. 4160/12.06.2003 regarding the establishment of D.S.P.P. within „Titu Maiorescu” University of Bucharest, which granted it operating authorization. Throughout its activity, D.S.P.P. operates according to the Minister's Order no. 4316 of 03.06.2008 regarding the approval of the psychopedagogical study program for the purpose of obtaining teaching certification through D.S.P.P.
D.S.P.P. carries out its activities to quality standards, aiming to meet the European performance criteria of the Ministry of Education, Research and Youth and ARACIS.
In the labor market, the growth of human resource competencies is already an urgent necessity that is increasingly acquiring institutional value: quality, efficiency, pragmatism, creativity. In this regard, D.S.P.P. has designed and implemented curricula, analytical programs, and training and study programs so that they respond to our fundamental objective: initial training, professional development, and consultancy in the teaching, educational, and pedagogical profession and career.
The Bologna Declaration encourages a culture of learning that calls for significant changes in teaching approaches, the creation of an optimal framework for learning, and personal development. The design of these new educational strategies implicitly requires a space for research and psycho-pedagogical reflection, where D.S.P.P. has a priority role.
Defining the basic concepts of the field of education, forming the competencies necessary for designing and carrying out teaching activities, and structuring the personality for the teaching profession represent the general objectives of DSPP.

DSPP organizes psycho-pedagogical training programs based on Law of Education no. 1/2011, Ministry Order no. 3850/May 2, 2017, and Ministry Order no. 4129/July 16, 2018.
