Tutors and practice
The psychology faculty's curriculum includes 60 hours of specialized internships each academic year.
For internships, the Faculty of Psychology has concluded collaboration agreements, accords, and contracts with the internship host institutions. These documents stipulate the availability of the internship host institutions to accept students from the Psychology specialization for internships, the internship period, location, organization and supervision methods, as well as the responsible parties from the Faculty of Psychology and from the internship host institutions.
We currently have collaboration agreements with over 30 psychology practices with two companies: SIEMENS Romania and ZARA S.A., and with the Professor Doctor Alexandru Obregia Psychiatric Clinical Hospital.
The final assessment of the activities carried out during the internship will be conducted through a colloquium, in accordance with the study plan, taking into account the evaluation made by the internship's supervising faculty member.
In the academic year 2014-2015, Titu Maiorescu University carried out three POSDRU projects that aimed precisely at improving the efficiency and quality of internships for students. The Faculty of Psychology was involved in all three POSDRU projects.
Thus, 86 students were involved in the POSDRU 142075 project „Professional Counseling for Psychology Students, Additional Chances for a Successful Career.” This project was carried out in collaboration with the College of Psychologists of Romania.
The POSDRU 136144 project „Practice of Excellence for Career Success” involved 71 students from the Faculty of Psychology. This project was carried out in collaboration with the company SIEMENS Romania.
