As part of the festive events dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Titu Maiorescu University's founding, the Faculty of Pharmacy organized the Festive General Assembly on April 7, 2025. This event served as a moment that unites the past, present, and future of the pharmacy profession and Maiorescu education. Significantly, this event took place on World Health Day, offering a moment of additional symbolic resonance for reaffirming the Maiorescu university community's commitment to its formative, scientific, and humanistic mission in service of life.

Honored guests at this event included: Vice President Prof. Smaranda Angheni, Vice President Prof. Valentin Pau, representing the University's leadership; Minister Prof. Ecaterina Andronescu; Associate Professor Roxana Colette Sandulovici (Dean of the Faculty); Associate Professor Anca Daniela Raiciu (President of the Planta Romanica Employers' Association); Professor Irinel Badea (University of Bucharest); Dr. Gabriel Stănciulescu (Medochemie); Dr. Andreea Botoloș (Dr. Max Pharmacy); as well as teaching staff, students, and alumni.

Titu Maiorescu University celebrates 35 years – a span of time that may seem short in world history, but in the life of an institution, it reflects maturity, consolidation, and above all, the assumption of an essential role in shaping character and consciousness. Within this framework, the Faculty of Pharmacy celebrates 12 years of existence – the number of rhythm, cyclicality, and functional harmony – perfectly suited for a field that cares for the most precious balance: human health.

The Faculty of Pharmacy has established itself, throughout its existence, as a space for rigorous training, applied research, and interdisciplinary dialogue, consolidating its mission in full harmony with the spirit and ideals of Titu Maiorescu University. During the event, the academic community of the Faculty of Pharmacy was celebrated, a living and interdependent construct, in which the teaching staff, students, researchers, and alumni each contribute, through excellence, dedication, and solidarity, to shaping a professional identity anchored in Maiorescian values.

The festive program included moments of tribute, speeches, academic presentations, and symbolic sequences meant to highlight the continuity between tradition and modernity, and between university excellence and the dynamism of the pharmacy profession. During the festive assembly, the Titu Maiorescu University Diploma and Anniversary Medal were awarded to special guests and faculty members of the Faculty of Pharmacy, for their contributions and dedication to the faculty’s development.

This anniversary moment offered the opportunity for a solemn reaffirmation: The Faculty of Pharmacy is building its future in full harmony with the founding values of Titu Maiorescu University, under the banner of knowledge, responsibility, and excellence.
