About

The mission of the Law Doctoral School is to train researchers and specialists with advanced skills in the legal sciences, capable of producing original and relevant research for the development of law.

Since its establishment, the Doctoral School - Law has set itself three objectives: readjusting the curriculum, writing and supporting scientific research reports in accordance with international quality standards and preparing doctoral theses in a new format. Also, the consolidation of an interdisciplinary doctoral school, the harmonization of Bachelor - Master - PhD programs and the improvement of the quality of education and scientific research occupied a central place among the strategic objectives of the Doctoral School - Law.

The doctoral program is structured in relation to the expected learning outcomes and aims to develop the following competences:

  • advanced scientific research skills;
  • capacity for critical analysis and doctrinal synthesis;
  • skills to develop and sustain an original scientific approach;
  • integration into the academic and professional community.

The learning outcomes are linked to CNC/EQF level 8 and relevant occupational standards.
