TITU MAIORESCU UNIVERSITY REAFFIRMS ITS COMMITMENT TO QUALITY AND EXCELLENCE <\/strong><\/h2>\n

On April 23rd, Titu Maiorescu University of Bucharest<\/strong> celebrate 34 years of existence<\/strong>. As a calendar date, University Day coincides with the feast of Saint George the Victory-Bearer.<\/strong>. At the same time, April 23rd is International Day of the Book<\/strong>, under the auspices of UNESCO. For the maiorescian academic community, the overlap of the three meanings has a special symbolic meaning<\/strong>, which expresses the idea of the triumph of the spirit over any form of ignorance through the creative and formative power of education<\/strong>. University Day offers the academic institution that positions itself, assumptively and programmatically, under the auspices of the founder of Romanian modern culture and civilization, Titu Maiorescu<\/strong>, a framework for joy and celebration, but also for evaluating achievements so far and reflecting on the development process and prospects.<\/p>\n

Titu Maiorescu University of Bucharest is today A complex and solid higher education institution<\/strong>, an important university in Romania<\/strong>, appreciated and respected, both at home and abroad, for the complexity of the institutional profile, for the quality of studies, and for the prospects offered to graduates<\/strong>. Built and developed as comprehensive university<\/strong>, defined by complexity and diversity at the level of fields and study programs, Titu Maiorescu University has within its structure: 10 faculties, with 25 university bachelor's degree programs, of which 19 are full-time (IF) and 5 are distance learning (ID), 23 master's degree programs, covering 8 fields of study, and 3 accredited doctoral schools: Law, Medicine, and Dentistry. Following the institutional evaluations conducted by the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, the most recent one in 2022, Titu Maiorescu University received High confidence rating\u201e<\/strong>, which represents a certification of academic quality. Another confirmation of value, at the highest level, is The constant inclusion of Titu Maiorescu University in Metaranking<\/em>- of universities and nationwide<\/strong>, who selects top performing Romanian universities<\/strong> according to the criterion of their presence in international hierarchies. As of 2020, Titu Maiorescu University is among the top 30 universities in the country.<\/strong>, being the only comprehensive private university present in these rankings<\/strong>. In the 2023 University Metaranking, Titu Maiorescu University is ranked 24th out of 30 universities.<\/p>\n

Reached a point of institutional maturity<\/strong>, which recommends it as a relevant university in the European Higher Education and Research Area<\/strong>, Titu Maiorescu University continues its development process<\/strong> in full synchronization with academic developments and knowledge trends, in the midst of the Digital Technology and Artificial Intelligence era. At the same time, the University, aware of its role in society, remains open to societal demands and needs, dynamically involved in the rapid processes of change and adaptation in the socio-economic environment, within the European paradigm of inclusive and responsive university<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The priorities of Titu Maiorescu University continue to be, institutional development<\/strong>, addressed as complex process in fundamental areas<\/strong>: quality human resources, new study programs and doctoral schools, creation of programs in English, development of infrastructure and logistics, digitalization and transformation of the University into a Digital University, internationalization<\/strong>.
