ADMISSION PORTAL<\/a>

How to connect to the portal?<\/b><\/h3>

The connection is made by filling out the fields in the registration page: email address, password. After creating the account, you will receive a confirmation email. Without this confirmation, you will not be able to connect to the admission portal.<\/p>

After connecting, you can enroll in the study programs you are interested in, by selecting the faculty, the level of studies (Bachelor\/ Master) and the study program. Please follow the steps in the portal, being constantly informed by email about the status of your application.<\/p>

What is the structure of the portal?<\/b><\/h3>

The admission portal is divided into 2 sections: Profile<\/b> and Enrollment<\/b>.<\/p>

the Profile<\/b> section is divided into 3 subsections:<\/p>

  1. Personal data<\/b>, where you will fill in the general data, the place of birth, the permanent residence, the details of your identity document(s), the citizenship(s).<\/li>
  2. High school education<\/b>, where you will fill in the information about the high school that issued your diploma.<\/li>
  3. Higher education<\/b>, if applicable, where you will fill in the information about current or graduated higher education studies.<\/li><\/ol>

    the Enrollment <\/b>section will contain all the enrollments you made, which is further divided into the following subsections:<\/p>

    1. Enrollment details<\/b>: here you will be able to see the citizenship declared for studies and other options specific to the study program.<\/li>
    2. International Relations<\/b>: this section is dedicated to the candidates who will submit their application to the International Relations Department, being requested specific information.<\/li>
    3. Documents<\/b>: here you will be able to upload the documents from the automatically generated list. The documents automatically generated by the portal, based on your previously entered data, can be digitally signed directly in the portal (by drawing the signature in the related section)<\/li>
    4. Fees<\/b>: after the Secretariat of the Faculty will validate your application, you will be able to make the online payment of the admission fee. If you are declared admitted, also in this section you will be able to make the online payment of the tuition fee.<\/li>
    5. Correspondence<\/b>: in this section you will be able to keep in touch with the Secretariat of the Faculty. You will receive an email notification whenever you receive a new message in this section.<\/li>
    6. Admission information<\/b>: in this section you will be able to see the admission calendar for enrollment in the selected study program, details about the status of your application, the score obtained in each subject of the admission exam, including your final results.<\/li><\/ol>

      REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

      REGISTRATION WILL BE OPEN <\/strong>ONLINE <\/u><\/strong>ONLY!<\/strong><\/p>

      The candidates can start registering online at the following link: https:\/\/site.utm.ro\/en\/admission-portal\/<\/strong><\/a><\/p>

      !Make sure you have available all the documents requested before starting the online registration!<\/strong><\/p>

      The electronic documents must comply with the following indications:<\/p>

      – documents can be uploaded only as pdf, jpeg or png files<\/p>

      – one file for each document; documents consisting of several pages must be scanned in one single PDF file<\/p>

      – documents translated into Romanian from an intermediate language must be accompanied by the original version<\/p>

      – translated documents must include all the pages and be in the same order as in the original document received from the translator (translated pages + copy of the original translated document)<\/p>

      – each file must be named after the type of the document (passport, birth certificate, high school diploma, etc.)<\/p>

      The files submitted online are subject to verification by the Department of International Relations. If the file is complete, you will receive an electronic message that your file has been prevalidated.<\/p>

      If the file is incomplete, you will be notified for correction\/completion of the file, following which you will add the missing documents online.<\/p>

      Once the file has been prevalidated, the candidates must pay the admission fees (admission fee and the fee for processing and submitting the file at the Romanian Ministry of Education for the letter of acceptance to studies).<\/p>

      Candidates have full responsibility for the accuracy of the information and the authenticity of the uploaded documents even if the documents were submitted through a third party.<\/p>

      Candidates assume that all contact details provided (email address, telephone number) belong to them and that they have access to all means of communication sent to the university, candidates being fully responsible for how they receive or not the messages that the university sends to the email addresses they provide when registering on the admission platform. The university assumes no responsibility for electronic messages that candidates do not receive.<\/p>

      Any communication between the university and the candidates registered for the admission competition is carried out in writing, in electronic format. Any kind of requests regarding information about the registration and admission can be addressed online to the email address international@univ.utm.ro<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>

      Step 2. \u2013 Payment of the admission fees<\/strong><\/p>

      The fees can be paid directly in the portal, after the file of the candidate is pre-validated, or in RON at the Cash Desk (Dambovnicului 22, District 4, Bucharest, next to the Department of International Relations).<\/p>

      One copy of the payment proof is added to each file sent for registration.<\/p>

      Step 3. \u2013 Confirmation of registration <\/strong><\/p>

      After the admission fees are paid, the file will be validated for the admission. The validated candidates will receive this information by mail.<\/p>

      Only validated files will be taken into consideration for participation in the admission exam; any other file status is not valid for participation in the admission exam. The status of the application file, respectively, the status of the candidate, will be found in the candidate account, on the admission platform.<\/p>

      Step 4. \u2013 <\/strong>Admission selection <\/strong><\/p>

      Admission is based on file, taken into account the overall average obtained at the baccalaureate exam or equivalent, with a weight of 2\/3, and the average for the high school years of study, with a weight of 1\/3, after the calculation formula:<\/p>

      The average for the high school years of study and the overall admission examination average provided for in paragraph (1) is calculated with two decimal places, without rounding.<\/p>

      The admission is made in descending order of the overall average score at the admission examination, from highest to lowest. Minimum score for exam is 5 (five). The overall admission examination average is calculated with two decimal places, without rounding.<\/p>

      Step 5. \u2013 Submitting the original documents<\/strong><\/p>

      The candidates that pass the admission exam must submit the original documents at the Department of International Relations by 30 SEPTEMBER 2026 (30.09.2026)<\/strong>.<\/p>

      !!Attention!! <\/strong><\/p>

      The documents presented in copy must be accompanied by the original document to be certified for conformity with the original by the International Relations Officer.<\/p>

      All documents issued in other languages than Romanian and English, except the passport and the language certificate, must be presented as legalized translations in Romanian in original (translation in Romanian certified at a notary in original); translations into other languages \u200b\u200bare not accepted.<\/p>

      The high school diploma (or its equivalent) or the graduation certificate must be submitted as legalized translation in Romanian, regardless of the language in which it was issued.<\/p>

      If the file is incomplete, you will be informed for correction\/completion, following which you will add the missing documents to the file. We request 1 physical file containing all the original documents requested in 2 legalized translations, apostille \/authenticated.<\/p>

      The physical file must have written on the cover the following information:<\/p>

      – Full name of the candidate (as appearing in the birth certificate),<\/p>

      – Current last name\/surname (after marriage, adoption, change on request, if applicable),<\/p>

      – Study programme for which you apply<\/p>

      – E-mail address of the candidate<\/p>

      – Mobile phone number of the candidate<\/p>

      Step 6. \u2013 Applying for the document for recognition of international studies at the Ministry of Education in Romania<\/strong><\/p>

      The candidates that pass the admission exam at Titu Maiorescu University must have their studies recognized by the Romanian Ministry of Education:<\/p>

      – for EU citizens<\/strong>, the Ministry issues a certificate of recognition of studies<\/p>

      – for Non-EU citizens<\/strong>, the Ministry issues a letter of acceptance to studies<\/p>

      For the admitted candidates, the Department of International Relations will apply for recognition of studies at the Ministry of Education in Romania, based on the documents provided by the candidates in the registration process \u2013<\/strong> step 1.<\/p>

      Within 3 days after receiving the admission exam results, the candidates must pay the fee for preparing and submitting the file to the Ministry.<\/p>

      One copy of the payment proof is added to the file at the Department of International Relations.<\/p>

      Step 7. \u2013 Paying the tuition fee for confirmation of place <\/strong><\/p>

      1. EU CANDIDATES <\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

        Candidates that are citizens of EU States, EEA and Swiss Confederation, as well as Romanian citizens with studies abroad or in other educational systems operating on the territory of Romania who have been declared admitted in the admission exam session are required to pay at least the first installment of the tuition fee until 30 SEPTEMBER 2026 (30.09.2026)<\/strong>. Otherwise, the candidate will not be matriculated in the first year of study.<\/p>

        The fee can be paid directly in the online admission portal or with bank transfer, according to the options below.<\/p>

          Candidates citizens of non-EU States who have been declared admitted in the admission exam session are required to pay the tuition fee in full <\/u><\/strong>until 30 SEPTEMBER 2026 (30.09.2026)<\/strong>, in order to obtain a long-stay visa for studies in Romania, for the whole academic year 2026-2027.<\/p>

          The fee can be paid directly in the online admission portal or with bank transfer, according to the options below.<\/p>

          Other information <\/strong><\/p>

          The matriculation of the candidate is final only after receiving the document for recognition of studies from the Romanian Ministry of Education and presenting a passport with a valid visa for studies (for non-EU candidates). In case the candidate is not accepted for studies by the Romanian Ministry of Education, he\/she cannot continue the studies, and the paid tuition fee is reimbursed in full.<\/p>

          The application file is returned, upon written request, to the rejected candidate.<\/p>

          The application file is returned, upon request, to the admitted candidate who renounces the place obtained by admission until 01 October 2026 (01.10.2026)<\/strong>, without the payment of the fee. If, until this date, the admitted candidate pays the full tuition fee, it is refunded to the candidate.<\/p>

          The enrolment fee and the fee for the processing and transmission of the file to the Romanian Ministry of Education are not refundable in any case.<\/strong><\/p>

          In case of withdrawal from studies after 01 October 2026 (01.10.2026)<\/strong> or expulsion from the University, the student pays a withdrawal fee of 500 RON<\/strong>. The student must pay the installments of the tuition fee, including the related penalties, until the date of withdrawal\/ expulsion. In case of the installments paid in advance (an installment whose due date is after the date of withdrawal\/ expulsion), they will be refunded to the student.<\/p>EU CANDIDATES

          Candidates should have the study diplomas recognized by the Romanian National Center for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas (CNRED<\/strong>) within the Ministry of Education in Romania. For the candidates who don\u2019t have the certificate from CNRED, Titu Maiorescu University will submit the file to CNRED for obtaining the recognition of studies<\/strong>.<\/p>

          Failure to obtain the recognition of studies from CNRED is a legal reason for the University not to do the matriculation of the candidate!<\/u><\/strong><\/p>
