Faculty of Pharmacy<\/strong> This is the newest faculty at Titu Maiorescu University, authorized in June 2013. It represents the culmination of the leadership's effort UTM to complete the triad of faculties dedicated to medical studies: the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Dental Medicine, and the Faculty of Pharmacy. The activity was inaugurated in October 2013, with the first generation of Pharmacy freshmen, in the new laboratory building belonging to the Faculty of Pharmacy.<\/p>\n

The study program is spread over 5 years, with a full-time attendance format, and fully complies with the national and European Union requirements for this type of training. The structure of activities has been adapted to the most recent educational modernization requirements, with specific particularities of the pharmaceutical field, including the preparation of appropriate curricula with carefully selected course syllabi.<\/p>\n

The curriculum includes both mandatory subjects necessary for training future pharmacists and a rich array of optional courses to ensure students develop complementary skills in patient communication, specific legislation, environmental issues, or entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n

The Faculty aims to become a high-performing and competitive private educational institution, where its graduates acquire professional training that is qualitative and compatible with the current demands of the labor market. Since its first year of operation, the Faculty has set ambitious objectives, which will result in the instruction and training of students towards performance and professional responsibility.<\/p>\n

The main objective is to achieve a quality, up-to-date educational process, based on communication, flexibility, and participation, constantly focused on understanding the current context of the pharmaceutical industry and assisting the development of future pharmacists in line with labor market demands.<\/p>\n

The practical activities of students are organized and carried out in collaboration with all types of institutions or enterprises related to the pharmacy profession, from retail pharmacies to pharmaceutical manufacturing companies and research institutions.<\/p>\n

The Faculty of Pharmacy is in full development, constantly adding new dimensions to the teaching and scientific activities carried out in the spacious facilities where students and teaching staff conduct their daily work. Courses are held in spacious amphitheaters equipped with modern teaching technology, and practical work takes place in dedicated laboratories within the Faculty of Pharmacy building.<\/p>

<\/p>

Knowledge related to fundamental and specialized disciplines is applied as practical skills with the help of the most modern specific equipment, from drug synthesis facilities to drug control apparatus, microbiology and botany studies, biophysics, and pharmaceutical chemistry. The training process at the Faculty of Pharmacy is oriented towards the present and especially towards the future, ensuring students access to cutting-edge specialized scientific information.<\/p>\n

We also consider it necessary not to forget our roots, so a small pharmacy museum has been set up in the faculty building, as a tribute to the predecessors of the profession, an attempt to cultivate in the hearts of students the awareness of the perennial value of this ancient craft, always in the service of the community's well-being.<\/p>\n

The educational program is complemented by a research program that is pursued in two directions. One of these aims to integrate research elements into students' activities from the early stages of their training. In the laboratories of the building dedicated to the Faculty of Pharmacy, students can participate in scientific circles alongside specialized teaching staff. The second direction consists of developing fundamental and applied research teams in the pharmaceutical field, encouraging the participation of teaching staff and associated researchers in internal and international research projects.<\/p>\n

The efforts of the research teams at the Faculty of Pharmacy have resulted in the establishment of the Department of Nanopharmacy within the \u201cAcademician N. Cajal\u201d Institute of Medical Research at Titu Maiorescu University.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, participation in scientific events is encouraged for both faculty and students. The Faculty already actively participates in the International Conference \u201cEducation and Creativity for a Knowledge-Based Society,\u201d organized annually within the University.<\/p>\n

The University's connections with numerous European universities should also be mentioned. The Faculty of Pharmacy operates in its own premises, suitable for the teaching process and research activities, built in 2013.\u00a0<\/span>on Ghe. \u0218incai Blvd. no. 16.
<\/strong><\/span>On the 3 levels of this headquarters are arranged\u00a016 rooms of works<\/strong>\u00a0modern practice, with a total usable area
over 342 sq m\/floor.
Bachelor's program\u00a0<\/span>Pharmacies\u00a0<\/span>access to institutional material resources in common use with other faculties:
V\u0103c\u0103re\u0219ti Street No. 189 - Building M and V\u0103c\u0103re\u0219ti Street No. 187 - Building V.
These are equipped with audio-video equipment for sound amplification and projection of audiovisual teaching aids, air conditioning, and surveillance cameras.<\/span><\/p>


Spaces used within the license program\u00a0<\/span>Pharmacies\u00a0<\/span>include:

The academic spaces correspond to the current stage of development of scientific knowledge and are at the level of corresponding spaces in developed European universities, respecting international best practices in the field.
